Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (240ml) warm water
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) raw apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp (5g) fresh ginger root, grated

Instructions:

  1. Grate the fresh ginger root using a microplane to ensure a fine pulp, maximizing the release of gingerol.
  2. Heat the water in a kettle or saucepan until it is steaming but not boiling to preserve beneficial enzymes.
  3. Pour the warm water into a glass mug.
  4. Stir in the apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, and grated ginger.
  5. If using, whisk in a pinch of pink salt or 1 tsp of raw honey until fully dissolved and the liquid is translucent.
