Ingredients:
- 2 thick slices of Sourdough bread
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup shredded Sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 pinch flaky sea salt
- 1 pinch freshly cracked black pepper
Instructions:
- Butter one side of the sourdough slices. Use the back of a large spoon to firmly press down the center of each slice to create a deep indentation, leaving a 1/2-inch border around the edges.
- Place the bread slices into the air fryer basket. Carefully crack one egg into each indentation.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese around the edges of the egg, focusing on the bread borders to create a cheesy crust.
- Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 8 minutes, or until the egg whites are set and the cheese is golden and bubbling.
- Season with flaky sea salt and black pepper before serving.
